Mammals: Bats (I think they live in Methodist church roof?) Butterflies: Comma, Red admiral, Common blue, Large white, Ringlet, Gatekeeper Birds: Blackbirds (inc. juveniles), Starlings (inc. juveniles), Robin, Sparrows (inc. juveniles), Dunnocks, Wood pigeons, Magpies, Blue tits, Long tailed tits, Great tits, Red kite Other insects: Bumble bees, Honey bees, Sawflies, Wasps, the usual un-lovely flies, bluebottles etc |

Butterflies Peacock, Comma - only a couple of times, Red admiral - only once, Orange tip, lots but only in April and May, Meadow brown - just one, once, Gatekeeper - lots (or the same ones several times) over June, July and August, Large white - loads, Small white - lots (actually can't tell the difference when they keep moving), Small tortoiseshell - only a couple of time, Holly Blue - lots of these, both in April and July Painted Lady - only once, Brimstone - just one or two, but several times through the year, Marbled White - just once, on a very windy day, presumably blown in, as not really a garden butterfly, Small Skipper - twice, but a very interesting and unusual butterfly, Ringlet - several seen over June and July |
